SCOTT ROAD BIKES

The Addict is the backbone of Scott's road range, and it stretches further than most. The standard Addict is built for long days, light and steady with room for 32mm tyres, while the Addict RC strips things back into a proper race bike. The Fastlane sits alongside both, a road bike with a motor in it, for keeping up or covering more ground.

Where you land in the Addict range is mostly about carbon, groupset and wheels. The lower the number the higher the build, so an Addict 10 sits above an Addict 50. If you are torn between two of them, tell us what you ride and how often, and we will tell you where the money actually makes a difference.

The Addict RC is a different proposition rather than simply a better one. Lower at the front and lighter still, it rewards a rider who wants the racing position and will hold it. Most people are happier on the standard Addict, and faster on it too.
