The 2027 Scott Addict 50 Road Bike is where the Addict range starts, and it starts on carbon. Same frame shape as the bikes above it, the same endurance geometry, the same room for 38mm tyres. What changes as you go up the range is the kit, not the frame you are actually riding.
It is built from Scott's HMF carbon with internal cable routing and a replaceable UDH derailleur hanger, which is the small detail you will be grateful for the first time the bike goes over in a car park. The geometry sits taller at the front and shorter in reach than a race bike, so it holds a comfortable position across a long day rather than folding you in half to go quickly.
The build is Shimano 105, mechanical rather than electronic, 24 speeds with hydraulic disc brakes. It shifts cleanly, it is straightforward to service, and the parts are on every shelf in the country. Syncros RP2.0 wheels and 34mm Schwalbe ONE tyres finish it off.
If you are choosing between this and one of the electronic builds further up, such as the Addict 25, the honest position is that the 50 rides on the same frame for a good deal less money.

Items must be returned within 60 days after receiving your order, returned in the same condition in which they were received, be unused and include the original packaging.
Once your return is received, inspected and approved, we will process your refund and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, usually within 5 days.
