Ridgeback have been doing the unglamorous end of cycling properly for forty years. Bikes for commuting, for first-time riders and for children, built to a price but not down to one. They are the range we sell most kids bikes from, and there is a good reason for that.

The Dimension is the kids range, and it runs from a 14 inch wheel for a child just off a balance bike up to 27.5 for someone nearly on an adult frame. They are light for the money, which matters more than anything else on a child's bike, and sensibly specced rather than covered in things that add weight and go wrong.

The Velocity is the grown-up version of the same thinking. A flat bar hybrid that will take mudguards and a rack, get you to work, and not mind being left outside in Glasgow weather.

Kids bikes are sized by wheel, not by age. Inside leg matters far more than a birthday, and a bike that is too big is worse than one slightly too small. Bring them in and we will stand them over a few, it takes ten minutes and it is the difference between a bike that gets ridden and one that sits in the shed.
