Frog
Frog have been a shop favourite for years, and more than one member of staff has rated a Frog above bikes costing five times as much. The reason is weight. A child is pushing a far higher percentage of their own body weight than an adult, and Frog built their whole range around that one idea, with narrow cranks and child-specific gearing to match.

The numbers in the names are the child's inside leg in centimetres, not the wheel size and not their age, which is a far more useful way to size a kids bike than guessing from a birthday. First Pedal bikes cover the early sizes for children moving off a balance bike, and the Hybrid range takes it up through primary school and beyond.
What is here is the stock we hold rather than a range we are continuing to order, so if you have your eye on a particular size it is worth moving. We are not taking new Frog orders in, and once a size has gone it has gone.

Every bike is built and checked by our mechanics before it leaves. Bring them into the shop and we will get the size right in ten minutes, which is the part that actually matters.
