Components

Wheels, tyres, pedals, tubes and bar tape. Not a full parts bin, but the parts that actually change how a bike feels underneath you. Upgrade any one of these and you notice it on the first ride, which is more than can be said for most things you can bolt to a bicycle.

Wheels are the big one. A lighter, stiffer wheelset changes how a bike accelerates, how it holds a line and how it feels on a climb, and it moves across to the next frame when the time comes. What we carry runs from a dependable alloy everyday wheel up to deep section carbon, and which one suits you depends far more on your roads, your weight and how you ride than on the badge.

Tyres are the cheapest meaningful upgrade there is. The right pair transforms a bike you already own for a fraction of the cost of anything else on this page. Tell us where you actually ride and we will point you at the width and casing to suit, which matters a good deal more than the name on the sidewall.

Pedals come down to how you ride rather than how fast. Three-bolt road cleats give the most stable platform, two-bolt SPD lets you walk about off the bike, and flat pedals need no special shoes at all. We also stock power meter pedals, which are the simplest way into training with numbers, because they move between bikes in five minutes and need nothing else on the bike changed.

We fit all of it in the workshop. If you are changing wheels or moving to tubeless, bring the bike in and we will check the rotors, cassette and tape line up before you ride off.
