Tubeless

Running tubeless means no inner tube. The tyre seals against the rim, and liquid sealant inside closes small punctures as they happen, usually without you noticing.

The gains are real: fewer stoppages, no pinch flats, and the ability to run lower pressures for grip and comfort. The trade-off is a fiddlier setup and sealant that needs topping up every few months.

You need a tubeless-ready rim and tyre, the right valves, rim tape and sealant. If you are converting a wheelset for the first time, bring it in. Getting the tape right is most of the battle.
