Chamois Cream

Chamois cream cuts the friction between skin and pad. On anything over a couple of hours it is the difference between finishing comfortable and finishing sore.

Apply it to the pad, to the skin, or both. Riders differ, and it is worth trying each. A little goes a long way.

It is preventative, not a cure. If you are already getting saddle sores regularly, the cream will help but the saddle or the fit is usually the real problem, and that is worth a conversation.
