Bells

A bell is a legal requirement on a new bike in the UK and a genuine courtesy on shared paths, a lot friendlier than a shout, and it carries further.

Anything that rings clearly and mounts securely does the job. Compact designs tuck out of the way on crowded bars, and some clamp to a brake or accessory mount rather than taking up bar space.

Check the clamp against your bar diameter, particularly on aero and carbon bars.
