Scott Addict

The Addict is Scott's carbon road bike for riders who are not racing but have no intention of going slowly. It keeps the light frame and the sharp handling the name is known for, then adds a front end you can actually live behind and clearance for a tyre wide enough to survive a Scottish back road. Quick when you want it, civil when you do not.

The numbers are specification levels rather than different bikes. An Addict 10 and an Addict 50 share a frame shape and a riding position; what changes is the carbon, the groupset and the wheels. Decide the budget, not the model, because they will all fit you the same way.

Against the Addict RC, this sits taller and calmer. That is not a compromise, it is a different job. The RC is a racing bike; the Addict is the one you will still be enjoying in hour four, which for most people is the more useful bike by a long way.

For the same platform with drop bars pointed off-road, see the Addict Gravel.

All full price bikes come with free delivery and 0% finance options.
