Pinarello X Series
The X Series is Pinarello accepting that most of us are not racing, without asking anyone to ride something dull. Endurance geometry with a taller front end, a longer wheelbase and room for a proper tyre, wrapped in a frame that still looks and handles like a Pinarello. It is the range that makes the most sense for Scottish roads and for riders who measure a good day in hours rather than in placings.

As with the F Series, the numbers are specification levels rather than different bikes. X1 through X7 share a frame shape and a riding position, and what changes as you go up is the carbon, the groupset and the wheels. Pick the position first and the budget second.
Against the F Series, the X sits taller and steadier. That does not make it slow. It makes it a bike you are still comfortable on in the fourth hour, which for most riders is worth considerably more than a lower handlebar.
Above the X Series sits the Dogma X, which adds the X-Stay rear end and the lightest carbon Pinarello make.
