Every ride, smoother and faster
The Dogma X is an endurance bike that Pinarello refused to soften. The same carbon and the same obsessive shaping as the Dogma F, with a taller front end, clearance for 35 mm tyres and the X-Stay rear that takes the sting out of a rough surface. About 90 grams heavier than the F, which is the entire price you pay for being able to ride it all day on Scottish roads.

A lower attachment point and refined geometry enhance the double-arm, four-point top-stays design. Vibration disperses more efficiently through the four connection points, while the lower linkage minimises rebound for a smoother, more controlled ride.

The narrower, tapered downtube improves aerodynamic performance while increasing lateral stiffness. More reactive on climbs, faster on the flat and on descents, with efficiency, power and control in every condition.

Dogma changes its skin once more. Pinarello tested this new carbon lay-up on the X-Light and on the INEOS team bikes. Its tensile strength and elastic modulus take this generation of Dogma X to the next level of performance.

More about the Dogma X
The X-Stay is the part everyone asks about. Instead of one pair of seatstays, there are two sets meeting the seat tube in a triangle, with a cross-shaped insert between them. It lets the back of the bike move vertically to absorb road buzz while staying stiff against the forces that actually drive it forward. Reviewers consistently note that the rear end is noticeably calmer than the front, which is exactly the intent.
Against the Dogma F the geometry is taller and slightly shorter in reach, so the position is sustainable for hours rather than for a race. It is not a slow bike and it is not a soft one. Think of it as the Dogma you can take on a poor road surface, a long day, or a winter, without wishing you had brought something else.
If you want the pure race position and the lightest frame, that is the Dogma F. The X Series carries the same endurance thinking at a more accessible price.
