Description

The perfect blend between comfort and high performance, stiffness and softness. We developed a shoe that achieves a new level of comfort & performance in cycling shoes.

CIMA is a lightweight climber shoe. Ultra stiff – stiffness index 11 – incredible comfortable, breathable and fast drying. In size 42 weight 240 gr.

PTS

Pocket Tongue System. The new CIMA shoes incorporate an innovative Pocket Tongue System (PTS) that provides a hyper-clean design via a unique and patented closure system. Combined with the elastic bridge, this system provides an internal pocket for storing the knotted laces and an integrated aero cover for a clean and dynamic design.

Knit technology

UDOG’s knit technology for seamless comfort. It’s designed to create a unique upper shoe that is lightweight, supportive, breathable and waterproof. Knit is a one-piece seamless upper made of engineered knit material. The super-soft sock-like material adapts to any foot shape and every fit, while different technical knit patterns are used within the single Knit upper for optimal performance and comfort.

Carbon outsole

Designed to create the best blend between comfort and stiffness, CIMA uses an ultra-stiff high carbon composite outsole with a stiffness index of 11. This is developed with a directional ventilation channel, and integrated rubber heel and toe caps.

LAST

It looks unique because comfort is crucial. We spent hundreds of hours prototyping and real-world testing CIMA. With a generous toe box that offers extraordinary freedom and comfort. The heel cup shape is deep and narrow with innovative construction to eliminate stitches in the most sensitive area of your feet.

LACE-UP CLOSURE SYSTEM

Traditional laces tend to loosen while pedaling, so CIMA uses proprietary laces that are a flatter construction which creates a better knot and guarantees the best-fitting shoe no matter the ride - from the most demanding climbs to the hardest flat races.

LIGHTWEIGHT

CIMA, translated as ‘summit’ or ‘mountain-top’ in English, is a lightweight climber’s shoe: super stiff, comfortable, breathable and fast drying. In size 42, the shoe weighs 240g.

Guide to sizes

CIMA fits true to size. We use standard cycling sizes. If you wear brands such as Specialized, fi’zi:k or Giro all you have to do is choose the number you usually use.

Compare sizes with other brands >By measuring the length of your foot in millimetres you can obtain your shoe size by consulting the table. An example: if your foot is 274 mm long (between 272 mm and 277 mm) your size is 43, as stated in the table.

Let’s do it! Measure your foot by printing the sheet or by using a ruler. - download PDF

Why Buy From Us?

Why Buy From Us?

We're one of the most well established bike shops in Scotland and have been selling bikes to Glasgow and far beyond since 1980, so you can be sure that we're not going anywhere 😀

We care about what bike you buy, and we want it to be right bike FOR YOU, not one that would suit us. If you buy your bike from us, we want to keep you as a customer and keep your bike riding perfectly. We offer a free 6 week / 300 mile “tune-up” service, where we tighten up bolts and cables, index your gears and generally sort out any small issues you have after the short bedding in period.

You'll also have priority access to our workshop for repairs or servicing. We never turn away someone who has bought their bike from us, no matter how busy we are. You may have to leave your bike with us for a couple of days, but you'll be at the top of the list.

We offer free loans of a hard-case Bike Box Alan if you're travelling with your bike, just tell us when you need it and we'll book you in.

The best (and cheapest) time to make changes to a bike is at the initial build stage, avoiding the need to re-cable, bleed brakes etc. We can swap your saddle, change stems, wheels, tyres, bars, cranks, bar tape, group-set, pedals, add luggage and mudguards - the list is endless.

If you're ordering online, just select your upgrade or pop a note in the order when checking out.

Very few bikes leave the shop as they came to us, with stem and tyre changes being the most common.

Bikes are fully built up from scratch by our Cytech Level 2 mechanics. Brakes are bedded in on our brake bedding roller. Being situated in Glasgow, we’re used to preparing bikes for our wonderful British weather so everything is greased up to suit a Glasgow winter. Bikes are then buddy checked, test ridden and re-boxed for shipping with minimal assembly at your end.

High-end website sales are likely to be shipped in a hard case requiring minimum rebuild - attach the wheels, fit pedals (remember pedals are specific to the side of the bike) and away you go. We’ll arrange return shipping for the bike box.

Have you had a bike fit? Send us your fit data and we’ll set up the bike to your position.

Small adjustments make such a big difference.

Are the gears low/high enough for you? Do you have the correct tyre width? Favoured tyre brand? Fancy going tubeless? We’ll make suggestions that will improve your cycling enjoyment.

Bike-Fit is a big part of the in-store service, and usually involve swapping saddles, bars and stems. Whether it’s our suggestion or your requirements, we’re here to help you buy your perfect bike.
