There’s a right waterproof backpack for everyone: The Ortlieb Velocity Lite Cyber Blue Backpack 23L
The courier style daypack Velocity is a favorite in the ORTLIEB collection.
That's new: Handy details, new color concept and perfect if you want to do without the conventional tarp looks, because Velocity Lite comes in a sustainable PVC free material and you can go with the new PU coated nylon fabric.
Designed with the ORTLIEB Messenger Bag in mind, this compact backpack is the perfect choice for students, pupils or commuters, for every day, for school, for sports or work. Velocity Lite is sturdy and waterproof. Its trademark, the foam ventilated back, ensures carrying comfort along with breathability. Both the foam back and the ergonomic shoulder straps are improved for increased carrying comfort. The waist strap is adjustable or can be easily removed. Easy access roll top closure with hook and loop guarantees 100% waterproofness and makes packing speedy and simply.
In case the hook and loop fastener wears out after years of intensive use, simply return your pack to our ORTLIEB customer service and we will give your Velocity a second life. All components can be easily exchanged or repaired which makes Velocity a sustainable and lifelong companion. What’s new on the inside? All Velocity backpacks now feature an internal zippered organizer and a padded laptop sleeve fixed at the base and top taking computers (max. 15.4”) and keeping them safe and dry. The lower edge protectors resist abrasion and wear.
A bike light or helmet can be fixed to the back. As all ORTLIEB products, Velocity Lite is sustainably made in Germany.

Why Buy From Us?
Free servicing, priority workshop and bike box hire
Free servicing, priority workshop and bike box hire
Selling bikes in Glasgow since 1980 — one of the longest-established shops in Scotland.
Built properly. Every bike assembled from scratch by our Cytech Level 2 mechanics, brakes bedded in, greased to suit a Glasgow winter, buddy-checked and test ridden before it’s boxed.
Free 6-week service. Cables stretch and spokes bed in over the first few hundred miles. Bring it back and we’ll re-tension, re-index and check every bolt.
Priority workshop, for as long as you own the bike. We never turn away someone who bought their bike here, however busy we are.
Free bike box hire. A hard-case Bike Box Alan whenever you travel with the bike.
Free changes at the build stage. Saddle, stem, bars, tyres, pedals — far cheaper before the bike is built than after. Add a note to your order at checkout.
Free test rides around Glasgow Green, on as many bikes as you like.
