The 2027 Scott Addict Gravel 30 pairs electronic shifting with carbon wheels on the new Addict Gravel frame.
The frame is the same HMF carbon as the 20 above it, and the same new 2027 shape as the rest of the range. Tyre clearance is up from 45mm to 57mm, enough for a 2.2in mountain bike tyre. Scott put the bowed fork legs and the 27.2mm steerer at roughly 30 per cent more compliance at the front, and a thinned seat tube with dropped seatstays that are built to flex at around 60 per cent more at the back on the rigid seatpost. There is no suspension and nothing to maintain, the frame simply moves where it should.
SRAM Rival XPLR AXS is 13 speed and wireless, with a 10-46 cassette on a 42 tooth ring, so the gear range is the same as the bikes above it even if the shifting is a rung down. Syncros Capital GR 35 CF II carbon wheels and 50mm Schwalbe G-One RX Pro tyres. Around 9kg.
Against the Addict Gravel 40, you gain electronic shifting and carbon wheels. Against the 20, you give up the Force groupset and the Fulcrum wheels.
Please note that bike specifications are subject to change without prior notice.

Built properly. Every bike assembled from scratch by our Cytech Level 2 mechanics, brakes bedded in, greased to suit a Glasgow winter, buddy-checked and test ridden before it’s boxed.
Free 6-week service. Cables stretch and spokes bed in over the first few hundred miles. Bring it back and we’ll re-tension, re-index and check every bolt.
Priority workshop, for as long as you own the bike. We never turn away someone who bought their bike here, however busy we are.
Free bike box hire. A hard-case Bike Box Alan whenever you travel with the bike.
Free changes at the build stage. Saddle, stem, bars, tyres, pedals — far cheaper before the bike is built than after. Add a note to your order at checkout.
