Road Bike Accessories

A short list rather than a catalogue. These are the things we would put on a new road bike before it left the shop, picked because they are what we fit to our own and what we end up recommending across the counter anyway.

The sensible order is pedals and shoes first, because a new bike does not come with them, then a helmet, then something to fix a puncture with. After that it is bottles and cages, a computer if you want one, and a jacket for when the weather does what it does here.

Nothing on this list is the most expensive version of itself. It is the version that does the job and does not need replacing in a year, which is a different thing and usually a cheaper one over time.

If you are buying the bike from us, tell us what you want fitted and we will do it at the build stage. Changing a stem, a saddle or the tyres before the bike is assembled costs a fraction of doing it afterwards.
