The two systems split by use. SPD-SL is the road platform — a wide three-bolt cleat, stiff and efficient, awkward to walk in. SPD recesses into the sole so you can get off and walk about, which is why it suits gravel, touring and the commute.

What we stock here is pedals, from entry-level to Dura-Ace. If you are unsure which system your shoes take, bring them in.
