Gtechniq came to bikes sideways, out of car detailing, where they built their name on ceramic coatings and a fairly scientific approach to the chemistry. The bike range is that same thinking applied to a frame instead of a bonnet, and the ceramic kit is the interesting part of it. Treat the paint once and mud stops keying to it, which makes every wash after that quicker.

Day to day it is Bike Clean for the frame, the drivetrain degreaser for the greasy end, and Tri-Clean for a quick going over between proper washes. The kits bundle the chemicals with the brushes, mitt and drying towel, which saves working out what you need.

None of this is necessary to keep a bike alive. A rinse and a wipe of the chain will do that. This is for people who enjoy the cleaning nearly as much as the riding, and there are more of those than will admit to it.
