The helmets balance venting, weight and fit without pushing the price into the stratosphere, and several carry a MIPS rotational impact system. The Agilis and Isode cover the road, the Radix goes off it, and the Fixture and Tremor are for younger riders.

The shoes are the other half of the story, from the Stylus and Savix on the road to the Ventana for gravel and trail. Head shapes and foot shapes both vary more than a sizing chart admits, so try them on if you can.
