The idea behind the grips is simple enough. A round grip concentrates your weight on a small patch of palm, right where the ulnar nerve sits near the surface. The wing spreads it over a wider area and holds the wrist straighter. The GP1 is the plain version, the GP2 adds a short bar end so you can move your hands on a climb, and both come in two widths because hand size changes where the pressure lands.

The bar tape follows the same thinking and is sold by thickness for the surface you ride. 2mm on the Road for a direct feel of the bars, 2.5mm on the Allroad for mixed surfaces, and 3.5mm on the Gravel where the buzz is worth damping. All three have guide marks printed on so you can wrap them evenly without measuring.
