Shaped in CFD

It started, as always, in CFD. A deeper head tube, deeper fork legs and a BB junction that shields the rear wheel let the whole bike work as one system — 8.6 watts of drag saved over the outgoing Soloist, with 4.3 more on offer from the aero bottles.

More surface, less weight

The frame's surface area grew by nearly 3% and the fork's by over 8% — yet both came out lighter than before. The result is a bike that's faster and lighter as a system, sitting bang on the 6.85 kg UCI weight limit straight out of the box.

Soloist race-ready build

Aero Bottles, +4.3 Watts

Drag you can drink from

Round bottles add 6.3 watts of drag; the Soloist's aero bottles add just 2. They stand up on their own for easy filling, and the cages still take a round bottle from a feed zone or neutral service — so you save watts without ever skipping a drink.

Every new Soloist runs an advanced one-piece bar/stem that makes bike and rider faster. Not quite your size? Request a second bar/stem in a different width or length at no charge within 60 days, fitted by us as your authorised Cervélo retailer.
