Here in the U.K., we’ve got shoe fitting experts at our retail partners as far afield as the south, south-west, and up in Scotland. In the next few weeks, Richard (Staton), from our new U.K. office, will be attending a series of fitting events with partners, which will include visiting and speaking with cyclists at Billy Bilsland Cycles at 176 Saltmarket, Glasgow. The event is scheduled for 23rd and 24th June, from 12.30pm until 6.30 p on Friday, and from 10am until 3pm on Saturday. The Billy Bilsland shop is one of the most respected in the U.K., having been opened in Glasgow's east end in 1980 by Billy Bilsland, who was fresh out the pro peloton (he had since retired from his European Professional Cycling career only a couple of seasons before). Ever since then, this dynamic band of cycling experts have been managing a fast-paced independent bike shop, sharing their expertise and trying to make the world a better place, one bicycle at a time.Richard, from our new Lake U.K. has a long career in U.K. cycling, having worked for global leading brands, and is now bringing his wealth of experience and knowledge to you, as a key member of the new Lake U.K. team.
