The E-bike loan from the Energy Saving Trust is a cost effective way of funding an electric bike purchase. This is an interest-free loan for individuals, repayable over four years, that can be used for:
- 2 x ebikes capped at £3,000 each
- 1 x family cargo bike capped at £6,000
- 1 x adapted cycle (value assessed on a case-by-case basis)

Example scenario:
Steven (not his real name) decides to buy an E-bike at £3000. He has £1000 to put down as a deposit. He obtains a quote from his friendly independent local bike shop and submits his application, which is successful!! He will now pay the balance of £2000 over 48 months, which is £41.67 per month.
