The CDA is the value packed sibling to the steel framed Croix De Fer, sharing many of the elements that have given Genesis’ reknown adventure bike its legend status. Taking the same geometry and handling, the CDA utilises a lighter weight aluminium frame while utilising a bump absorbing steel fork to maintain front end hand and wrist comfort. This set up is an exceptional way of keeping the cost of the bike down without compromising performance, making an exceptionally adaptable bike at a great price.
With the abundance of mounting lugs the CDA has a whole host of potential set up options. Taking mudguards and pannier racks with ease the CDA takes the daily commute in it’s stride as well as it does multi-day touring trips and bike packing adventures. Whether getting out on epic adventures, for utility, to improve general fitness, the CDA provides a great option to do them all.
The CDA 20 comes fitted with Shimano's excellent 18 speed Sora gearing that provides a capable range of gears; low enough to get a fully loaded bike through the hills and big enough to keep the pace up on the flat and descents. Easy to operate, maintain and fix in the wilderness the cable operated mechanical disc brakes provide ample stopping power.
Chunky 37mm tyres knobbly tyres, the CDA has a great amount of grip over a variety terrain and weather conditions.

Every bike we sell is fully assembled and tested for safety by our trained mechanics. We then partly disassemble the bike and carefully re-pack to prepare for shipping.
Depending on the model, upon receipt you may be required to straighten and tighten the handlebars, reattach front wheel and attach the pedals. Please ensure that the pedals are greased and fitted correctly - the pedals will be marked L and R and have to be fitted to the left and right cranks respectively. Pedal do not come with every bike and need to be bough separately, especially on more high-end models. Please check when you are ordering.
There is a guide in the box telling you which tools you will need and the steps to follow. This will require some degree of mechanical skill to put together and can need some minor adjustments. The less confident you are in this field the more we'd recommend having it checked over by a professional mechanic.
