The FLUX 2 Smart is based on the popular FLUX Smart. Compared to its predecessor, it is equipped with a larger, more powerful resistance unit and a heavier flywheel. This increases the simulation bandwidth, the driving experience becomes better and the power measurement more accurate.
It is possible to realistically simulate gradients of up to 16%. Only with reliable, accurate and consistent performance measurement can you measure your performance and progress. That's what the Flux 2 Smart was designed for. It measures your power with 2.5% accuracy. A more powerful resistance unit combined with a larger flywheel improves the Flux 2 Smart's feel and response. These improvements make this Smart-Trainer feel even more like riding on real roads and paths. The Flux 2 Smart minimizes vibration and noise to the absolute minimum. That's why it's the quietest flywheel bike trainer you can buy.
Equipping the FLUX 2 Smart with additional axle adapters has significantly increased axle compatibility. This direct drive is compatible with 142 x 12 mm and 148 x 12 mm axles ex works.
Thanks to the intelligent electronics of this bicycle trainer, you can train autonomously without any software. It works with a progressive power curve. The resistance increases progressively as you ride. Precise simulation of driving on a flat road. Every bike we sell is fully assembled and tested for safety by our trained mechanics. We then partly disassemble the bike and carefully re-pack to prepare for shipping.
Depending on the model, upon receipt you may be required to straighten and tighten the handlebars, reattach front wheel and attach the pedals. Please ensure that the pedals are greased and fitted correctly - the pedals will be marked L and R and have to be fitted to the left and right cranks respectively. Pedal do not come with every bike and need to be bough separately, especially on more high-end models. Please check when you are ordering.
There is a guide in the box telling you which tools you will need and the steps to follow. This will require some degree of mechanical skill to put together and can need some minor adjustments. The less confident you are in this field the more we'd recommend having it checked over by a professional mechanic.
