The Avalanche 3.0 is for recreational riders looking for an entry-level
hardtail that is actually up to bit of offroad riding. The frame is a strong Aluminium frame and the 'triple triange' gives a less harsh ride than that found on other brands equivalent models.  The wheels with a cassette hub and double wall rims are much stronger than those n the 21 speed models below. Having 24 gears gives you a higher high gear and a lower easy gear for a wider range making undulating terrain easier to tackle.  It is also the first model that we stock that has both a lockout fork and disc brakes.  The Tektro cable disc brakes give much better braking than V-Brakes when it is mucky and wet.  The lockout fork is also really useful when climbing hills and on smoother road surfaces-you especially notice the benefit any time you get out of the saddle. So whether you spend time on twisty singletrack, hardpack bike paths,
or just out and about, the Avalanche 3.0 packs plenty of performance features.
