Kinesis introduced the KT-410, their first TT frameset last year and it was very successful. For 2008 we have gone back to the drawing board and in conjunction with Kinesis International, we have come up with the totally new KT-415. This frame showcases the latest 'SPF' [Superplastic Formed] tubing for it's front triangle. Using this advanced forming technique allows us to combine complicated aero tube shapes with thin wall, lightweight tubing. This has been hard to achieve by using standard Hydroforming techniques. The SPF top tube is wide where it meets the head tube for stiffness and tapers down towards the deep aero section seat tube. The Seat tube takes full advantage of the new SPF technology, allowing it to hug the wheel more closely than the KT-410 frame. The down tube has more of a 'teardrop' section than before and is wide where it meets the BB. Chainstays are now stiff, lightweight, alloy, and the seatstays are carbon. Also new for '08 is the carbon aero seatpost and colour matched Energy fork [post/fork/headset, included with frame]. The KT-415 now comes in 5 sizes: 47, 50, 53, 56 and 59cm [c/t].
